I first started training in shotokan karate in 1973-1974 and through the years I have been lucky to have trained with many of the best shotokan instructors in the world. Have been teaching and running my own clubs for 20 yrs plus

Jimmy Lightbody (2nd Dan)

Jimmy has been training in Shotokan Karate since 1973-74 and has a abundance of knowledge, He also ran a very successful karate club in the Chapelhall area (Nr Airdrie) in the 1980's, Due to a family bereavement Jimmy took some time out.

Jim McShane (3rd Dan) 

Jim Started Shotokan Karate in 1974, He took his first grading (9th Kyu) with Sensei H Tomita (JKA) and has been training in Traditional Shotokan Karate on and off for the last 36 years.
